OutBound Training

This past weekend was Outbound Training. We did lots and lots of work, but we also had fun! We went to Wild Blue Ropes courses, and the Duck race in Charleston. The Wild Blue Ropes was an experience that put you out of your comfort zone; much like an exchange.
A few main things I took away from this weekend are:
1. Go into this experience with an open-mind.
2. Practice, practice, practice your language!!!
3. Its ok to mess up on the language, just allow people to correct you
4. Your new cultures ways are not wrong, they are just different!

My name is Morgen Cvetko. I'm going to be studying aboard next year in Udine, Italy. I'm creating this blog to allow people to follow my experiences, but to also help people who are thinking about exchange programs. Even though I have not left yet, I can already tell that this experience will change my life.
This is just the beginning...
