The Disco

Last night we went to a city near the beach; it was like Myrtle beach, but with more people. It was like a huge party. Than at around midnight we went to the disco. At first I was to tired to enjoy, but then they started playing music and people were dancing, and having a good time! Me and my host sister were talking to a friend named Michael, and we couldn't stop laughing. Last night really helped me bound with my host family! However I was so tired, as we did not arrive home till 3 in the morning.

I'm here

Wow. Never in a million years did I even begin to think that I would be living in Italia! However, I am here and it is so beautiful! The first day was rather hard (Italians speak very, very fast and I only know so many words), but my host family is amazing. They are helping me learn my Italian and in the three days I've been here. I already am speaking it regularly and carrying on simple conversations. Everyone in the rotary club was so welcoming and friendly. A group of college students kinda took me under their wings and helped make me feel comfortable. They also introduced me to the dad of a student at my school. I haven't seen much of Italia, but what I have is breathe takingly beautiful. Once again I can not thank rotary enough for this amazing experience!
Ciao

Hard to believe

Its hard to believe that in a week I will be in Italy. So many months of planning and work has lead to this, and it's finally here! I'm all packed and got all my papers ready! Now I just have to wait ...
